Located deep in the heart of Texas, Holmes Smokehouse was founded in 1970 by Luvine Holmes. From a small meat locker, in Rosenberg Texas, Luvine developed our award winning sausage recipe. Luvine believed that when making sausage: “You can’t make a good sausage cheap, and you can’t make a cheap sausage good!”

This is what we’ve built our business and reputation on. At Holmes Smokehouse, we use only the finest cuts of meat seasoned with an old fashion blend of salt, pepper, and garlic, and smoked to perfection with real pecan logs. We don’t cut any corners. Holmes Smokehouse now boasts it’s own state of the art U.S.D.A. meat processing facility that is BRC and Steritech certified. We have our own quality control lab, in-house design services, and food designers capable of creating the best tasting private label products you’ll ever try. Our product line has also expanded to include bacon, boudin, hot dogs, fresh sausage, summer sausage, and jerky and we’re coming out with new items all the time.
